Kraken Con

Kraken Con first started in 2013 at the South San Francisco Conference Center and the second was held in April at the Oakland Convention Center. With their success they are continuing on with their third Kraken Con this weekend, October 4-5, at the Oakland Convention Center! We will be there this weekend with our booth!!

What is Kraken Con?

From their website, “Kraken Con is a two day convention being held October 4-5th, 2014 in the Oakland Convention Center which features anime, cartoons and comics with a heavy emphasis on whimsy, imagination and creative process. Our goal is to ensure attendees have an enjoyable experience via great panels, cool guests, fun events and awesome merchandise.”  

So who do you expect to see there this weekend?

The guests of honor include:

Caitlin Glass is a voice actor and singer who is best known for her role of Winry Rockbell in Fullmetal Alchemist, and as Haruhi Fujioka in Ouran High School Host Club.

Matthew Mercer is a voice actor/actor and most of his roles are in animation and video games. Some of them include Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil 6, Captain Levi from Attack on Titan, and Alvin from Tales of Xillia.

Eric Stuart is a voice actor and musician who is best known in Pokémon as Brock as well as James and Yu-Gi-Oh! as Seto Kaiba. He also has a band, The Eric Stuart Band, which has released six full length releases.
