Cosplay & masquerades

For those who don’t know about cosplay, let’s say that it’s among the most impressive shows you could attend! Cosplayers get on stage in the most breathtaking costumes, hand-made, from their favorite manga, anime or video games.

The alleys of Japan Expo, its cosplay stage and most of all the masquerades on the main stage are unique opportunities to see your favorite manga, anime and video game characters come to life.

You want to be part of the show? Masquerades are taking place on Saturday and Sunday. To parade on stage, you have to sign up on site. Dedicated dressing rooms are available, as well as a cosplay first-aid station for repairs. So take your best costume and come to Japan Expo to parade on the main stage! Amie Lynn, our cosplay guest, will be one of the judges, and there will be loads of prizes for the winners!

And for all cosplayers, whether trained or beginners, the cosplay stage is open during the whole festival.
