General Terms of Sale

Premium Tickets purchases are final, non-refundable and non-transferable. Review your purchase before confirming the payment.

Regular Tickets are refundable within 7 days. Refund might take up to 30 days to be completed. After 7 days, purchases are considered final.
All sales on site are final.

Complimentary tickets are not transferable, nor exchangeable and cannot be sold.
Only tickets sold on the Japan Expo website, sent by Japan Expo or bought on site are valid.

Child Tickets (8 and under) are free with a paid adult ticket. Child Tickets are only available on-site. One child per adult.

If you do not receive a confirmation email with a barcode, if you have an error message or think the transaction did not go through, please contact us via our contact form.

If the price of the ticket you buy is considered incorrect by Japan Expo because of a human mistake, technical error or any other reasons, Japan Expo reserves the right to cancel that ticket and refund the price you paid.

Each ticket has a unique barcode and cannot be duplicated. Badges can only be issued onsite with your printed voucher. Once a barcode is scanned and a badge is issued, it is invalidated. We might ask you for a valid ID document with photo to check voucher information. 
Each ticket is only valid for 1 person.

Japan Expo cannot be held responsible for scanning an invalidated barcode.
All invalidated barcode will be refused without refunds or compensations.

You must wear your badge at all times on-site.

Japan Expo may scan your badge at any time and ask for a photo ID that matches the name on the badge.

People with no badges will not be accepted on the premises. Failure to present a badge inside the premises will result in exclusion from said premises. Violating this policy will result in the cancelation of your badge with no refunds possible.

You agree not to sell, trade, duplicate, or share your badge.
All badges are the property of Japan Expo.

At any time Japan Expo or the Event Center might decide to check you, your bags and belongings to ensure safety on site. You agree to such searches. If you refuse such searches or if you carry anything considered dangerous or inappropriate by the staff, you may be asked to leave the premises without refund or compensation.

Programming and guests are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Japan Expo cannot be held responsible and you agree not to ask for any refunds or compensations. 

You acknowledge and assume all risks, to you and people accompanying you, of participating to Japan Expo and its activities. Japan Expo and its personnel, affiliates and volunteers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental damage, injury, theft or loss.

You acknowledge that any photographs, videos or recordings taken of you by Japan Expo shall be used and published by Japan Expo without compensation and without further notice and authorization from you. 

All information you provide can be used by Japan Expo to relay information related to the event or by Japan Expo’s partners and clients.

Japan Expo reserves the right to modify its rules and policies at any time and without notice.
