Try aikidô, the art of peace
Japan Expo offers many opportunities to discover Japanese martial arts, through demonstrations and workshops. Among them, Aikido By the Bay is attending the festival to introduce you to aikidô!

At Japan Expo, Aikido By the Bay students will perform demonstrations to show taijutsu (empty-handed) techniques as well as kata and partner practices performed with the jô (wooden staff) and boken (wooden sword).
Workshops will be scheduled daily to give the attendees the opportunity to learn some basic aikidô techniques and how they can be applied as self-defense in real life situations.
