Japan Expo at J-Pop Summit!

On July 19th (sat) and 20th (sun), one of our partners will be hosting one of the most fabulous annual event, “J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL!”  They will be back to San Francisco Japantown once again with even better party plans! This festival not only entertains you with the Japanese pop- icons on stage or the tastes of the authentic food/sake, but it also provide Japanese game, film, and more fun stuff to captivate you!!

MUSIC: J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL has succeeded to invite the incomparably unique artists who are invigorating music scenes in Japan, and they are all ready to blow away the crowd at a stage in Japantown or the Union Square. FASHION: Without a word, we all know that there is something KAWAii (meaning cute in Japanese) going on with Japanese fashion. Super KAWAii models and fashionistas are going to have fashion show/contest at the stage, moreover, Ayumi Seto (Zipper model) is once again doing pop-up shop of her brand “Aymmy in the batty girls” in the NEW PEOPLE building. Excitingly, there is chance to get a ticket to her autograph & photo session as well.

GAME: The official illustrator for Hatsune Miku is coming to SF. There will be an autograph session, premier trial of newly released game and more!

FILM: Japan Film Festival of San Francisco is going to be at NEW PEOPLE on July 19th through 27th. So many great Japanese films are going to be available on screen, furthermore, there is a chance to see their guests of honor, TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE (a dance and vocal group), Mitsutoshi Tanaka (the director of Ask Of This Rikyu), Yuki Furukawa (the actor of Wo Ai Ni in Tokyo).

FOOD: Not really into the amusing Japanese pop culture yet? Don’t worry! You can still enjoy this event as we will have Pop Gourmet Food Festival which includes sake tasting, food truck, and more. The remarkable one is “Ramen Street.” Just come down and try it out. The street will have the tasteful 6 râmen shops from LA, SF, LV, and even Japan.
